RESIDENCE

DOT

In the seaside suburb of Voula, this newly built residence becomes a canvas for a holistic interior design approach, where furniture, decoration, and lighting converge into a cohesive narrative. At the heart of the concept lies a timeless Greek symbol — the olive tree — translated into form, color, and texture to define the atmosphere of the home.

The design unfolds around a dialogue between soft, organic curves and decisive geometries, echoing the dual nature of the olive: resilient yet delicate, grounded yet graceful. In the communal spaces, this interplay sets the tone, with sculptural forms shaping both flow and character.

Oak wood provides a warm foundation, complemented by silk rugs and a tactile boucle fabric sofa with generous curves. Subtle olive-toned accents weave through the interiors, while stone coffee tables and a dining table in microcement offer grounding elements of raw materiality. Together, these pieces compose a palette that feels at once natural and refined.

Light, both natural and crafted, enhances the textures and rhythms of the space, creating moments of intimacy and openness. The result is a residence that does not simply host daily life but elevates it into an experience — a quiet ode to the olive tree, where tradition and contemporary living intertwine.
